Invitation to Participate in the Robotics and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Hackathon 2024
Hosted by the Department of Computing, Mathematical, and Statistical Sciences at the university of Namibia (UNAM) during the upcoming 2024 SAMSA Annnual Conference from the 26th to the 29th of November 2024 at Windhoek Main Campus, the Robotics and HCI Hackathon aims to bring together brilliant minds to showcase their skills and develop solutions that are contributing to the sustainable development goals. The participants are expected to work collaboratively and utilize cutting-edge tools to solve real world problems. A a panel of indipendent judges willselect the winning teams. The Robotics and HCI competion is open to learners, students and researchers in Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and Statistics.
Therefore, we are inviting all potential participants to register for this competition.
To participate:
(a) team members should be students in Namibian high schools or tertiary institutions.
(b) minimum of one laptop for each team or per group.
