DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTING, MATHEMATICAL & STATISTICAL SCIENCES
The Department of Computing, Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at the University of Namibia (UNAM) is hosting the Southern Africa Mathematical Sciences Association (SAMSA) annual conference from the 26th to the 29th of November 2024 at the Windhoek Main Campus. The city of Windhoek, being Namibia’s capital, hosts all foreign embassies and high commissions to Namibia. It is also a major academic centre for research as a home to two public universities, one private university, colleges, and other training institutions. Windhoek is served internationally by the main international airport in Namibia, the Hosea Kutako International Airport. The objectives of SAMSA include fostering research and teaching of Mathematical Sciences in Southern African countries and beyond.
