FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE, ENGINEERING & NATURAL SCIENCES
The Department of Computing, Mathematical and Statistical Sciences will host the annual SAMSA conference from the 26th to the 29th of November 2024 at the Windhoek Main Campus, University of Namibia. The city of Windhoek, being Namibia’s capital, hosts all foreign embassies and high commissions to Namibia. It is also a major academic centre for research, which is home to two public universities, one private university, colleges, and other training institutions. It is served internationally by the main international airport in Namibia. The objectives of SAMSA include fostering research and the teaching of Mathematical Sciences in Southern African countries and beyond. This conference will present an avenue for upcoming and established researchers to learn, network and present new provoking ideas and problem-solving techniques.
