Herbert Jauch holds 2 teaching degrees as well as a Masters degree in political studies. He has been a labour researcher for the past 20 years and has widely published on industrial policy,
employment creation and inequality as well as policy alternatives. Herbert served as director of the Labour Resource and ResearchInstitute (LARRI) from 1998 until 2007 and was its senior researcher until January 2010.
He was also with the Basic Income Grant Coalition since its inception and now works as a labour researcher and educator with various Namibian organisations.
